Rushen won both the old firm clashes at the weekend. Rushen got off to a dream start when Steve Ridings inswinging corner was helped on its way by the keeper into the net. Rushen increased their lead when Steve Ridings free kick found the bottom corner. Rushen were well on top but lost Jack Snidal who was taken out by Crennell which earned him a booking. Peel almost scored when Websters shot hit the post and rolled back across the goal into the keepers hands . peel started well in the second half and Webster pulled one back. Both sides had chances after this but the score remained 2-1.
The combo won 4-1 with goals from Charlie Jackson,Craig Gelling 2 and an Andrew Moody penalty. Ethan Herbert scored Peels solitary goal.
