The Old Firm clash

Rushens opening fixture is against the old enemy at Croit Lowey on Saturday. Since last season we have signed Andrew Hughes, Andrew Blake, Kyle Lunn and Adam Kinley. Leaving the club are Tom Doherty, Ciaran Brown, Ross mulligan and Brett Allocate.  David Ward has been appointed combination manager and we wish him the best of luck.

Over the last ten years the clashes at Croit Lowey have seen Rushen win 5 times lose 4 and drawn 1.Steve Riding has played in all ten games scoring 3 goals. Steve Riding and Chris Shimmin have now played over 400 games for the club.

 Todays opponents  Peel have been busy in the transfer market. Joining the club are Johnny Shields, Matty Skillicorn and Sean Kelly from Laxey. Aaron Costain has rejoined the club while Max Thomas and Lee Gale are back after a year out.
