1930-31 Rushen won the Hospital Cup final after a replay against Ramsey. The first game ended 1-1 with Ross Creer scoring a late equaliser .In the replay Wilf Corris opened the scoring after 15 seconds and increased the lead before half time. Ramsey pulled one back before Jack Curphey scored a third. Rushen lost to DHSOB in the cap final 3-1 with Jim Barron scoring the goal.
1931-32 Rushen were knocked out of all 3 senior cup competitions at semi final stage.
1932-33 Rushen lost to Peel in the Hospital Cup final 3-1 with Ross Creer scoring the goal as Peel went on to achieve the grand slam. In the FA Cup Rushen went out of the competition when they refused to play a replay on a Thursday and the game was decided on the toss of a coin.
1933-34 Rushen won the FA Cup 1-0 against Ramsey with Jack Curphey scoring the only goal after 70 minutes.In the Hospital Cup final against Peel the first game ended 2-2 with Wilf Corris scoring both goals .In the replay Paddy Quine equalised and the game looked to be heading for a replay but an own goal 3 minutes from time sent the cup west. 1934-35 Rushen gained revenge over Peel in the Hospital Cup final winning 3-1with the goals coming from Will Lister, Jim Barron and Paddy Quine . Rushen played Colby in the Junior Cup final and drew the first game 1-1 with the Reverend Lamb scoring the goal but lost 3-2 in the replay with Lamb and Cain scoring
1935-36 Rushen won the league title for the second time not losing a game and only conceding 8 goals. Rushen also won the FA Cup final beating Peel 1-0 thanks to a goal from Wilf Corris in front of a crowd of 3000. Rushen won the second league title and the Junior Cup defeating Colby 3-1 with goals from Leslie Costain,Tom Crebbin and the Reverend Lamb with Leslie Costain missing two penalties.
1936-37 Rushen lost in the FA Cup final against Peel in the second replay.The first game was held up for 20 minutes due to the wedding of Rushen captain Paddy Quine.In this game 3 players were sent off as the teams were more interested in kicking each other and it ended 1-1 with Jack Curphey scoring.The first replay ended 1-1 with Tommy Moore scoring the goal. Spectators invaded the pitch and extra time could not be played. The referee left the pitch under police protection. In the second replay Rushen lost 2-0. The Junior Cup was retained with a 2-1 victory over Malew with the Reverend Charles Henry Cunningham Lamb scoring both goals. Once again Rushen missed two penalties.
1937-38 A lot of the better players moved to Castletown and despite the club being in debt they decided to carryon. The Rev Lamb scored six goals in a cup game against Michael.
1938-39 Rushen lost to Peel in another marathon FA Cup Final. The first game ended 2-2 with Jim Barron scoring both goals. The first replay ended 2-2 with Alec Maddrell scoring both the goals but the game was abandoned 30 seconds into extra time due to bad light. Peel won the second replay 2-0.In the Hospital Cup final Rushen had a comprehensive victory 6-1 against Braddan who took the lead. The hero for Rushen was Jim Barron who scored 5 goals with Albert Quine scoring the other
1945-46 Football resumed after the war but only cup competitions
1946-47 Rushen struggled and remained bottom for most of the season
1947-48 Rushen won the Railway cup final 3-0 against St Georges with goals from Jack Oates ,Billy Corris and Tommy Carine. It was a remarkable achievement as Rushen had not won a league game before the final was played on New Years day.
1948-49 Rushen lost to Colby in the Hospital Cup final 2-1 with Billy Corris scoring the goal after only 2 minutes. Rushens goalkeeper Allan Cregeen was aged 15 while winger Laurie Jackson broke his leg.
1949-50 It was not a good season although Rushen did reach the semi final of the Hospital Cup
1950-51 Rushen won the FA Cup with a 2-1 victory against Bradddan in front of a crowd of 4000 people. The scorers were Reg Clark and Laurie Jackson.Rushen also won the Hospital Cup with a 2-1 victory over Castletown. The scorers were Nipper Maddrell and Laurie Jackson. Brian Cooil scored 10 goals in a Railway Cup match against Malew which Rushen won 20-2.
1951-52 Rushen were unbeaten in the opening 14 games but lost 7 out of the last 8.
1952-53 Rushen lost 3-0 to Peel in the FA Cup final although Rushen did have 2 goals disallowed for off side
1953-54 Rushen lost their first 7 games conceding 51 goals but over the next 7 games Rushen scored 42 goals and picked up 6 victories. Rushen won the Cowell Cup final 6-0 against Braddan with goals from Norman Clague 2 John Floyd 2 Eric Grace and Michael Darnill
1954-55 Rushen were relegated for the only time in their history. The signs were not good when they had 13 hit past them on the opening day of the season against RAF. Rushen reached the Cowell Cup final but lost 4-0 against NYC.
1955-56 Rushen won promotion as runners up to Laxey who were the onlt team to beat them in the league. Rushen won an exciting Cowell Cup Final beating NYC 6-5 with goals from Granville Christie 4 Eric Grace and Alex Maddrell
1956-57 It was a poor season as Rushen tried to establish themselves back in division one.
1957-58 Rushen lost 4-1 in the Cowell Cup final against DHSOB with John Curphey scoring a penalty
1958-59 Rushen hit 13 past Marown in a league game.The second team won the southern section of the league but lost the play off 1 -0 against Ramsey 1959-60 Rushen lost 3-2 against Peel in the Woods Cup final with the goals coming from Jack Oates and John Curphey
1960-61 Rushen lost to Peel in the Railway Cup 2-1 with a goal from Francis Cregeen and also went out in the FA Cup semi final against Peel
1961-62 Rushen once again played Peel in the final of the Railway Cup and were on the end of a 5-1 thrashing with Norman Clague scoring the goal.
1962-63 Rushen won the Railway Cup with a 2-1 victory against St Georges with goals from Francis Cregeen and an own goal
1963-64 Rushen should have won the league title but lost twice to Onchan who were relegated and this was to prove costly as they lost the title by 3 points. Rushen won the Railway Cup thrashing Peel 6-1 with goals from Jack Oates 2 Willy Corrin 2 John Curphey and Peter Quine. Peel gained revenge in the FA Cup final winning 5-0. Rushen also lost to St Georges 1-0 in the Hospital Cup final. Willy Corrin scored over 50 goals during the season including 9 hat tricks. Rushen lost 6-1 against Laxey in the Junior Cup final with a goal from David Corrin but won the Cowell Cup final 2-0 against Ramsey with goals from Ewan Corkish and David Corrin
1964-65 Rushen reached the Railway Cup final for the fifth year in a row but lost 4-2 against DHSOB with goals from Peter Musson and Derek Harrison
1965-66 Rushen reached no finals but beat Castletown 9-3 in a FA cup tie but 7 days later lost 9-1 to Town in a league game
1966-67 Rushen beat Peel 6-4 in the Junior Cup final after leading 5-0 at half time . The goalscorers were Barry Watterson 3 Eric Nelson 2 and Jack Oates. Rushen also won the Cowell Cup 3-0 against Laxey.
1967-68 Rushen retained the Junior Cup beating St Georges 6-1.Rushen also retained the Cowell Cup beating DHSOB 3-1with 3 goals from Gareth Jones. Gareth Jones was selected as Island Footballer of the Year at 18 years of age.
1968-69 Rushed moved to Croit Lowey and played their first game there on 20th September 1968 against Ramsey. Rushen scored 14 goals in a FA Cup tie against Michael. The Cowell Cup was won for the third year in a row with a victory against DHSOB 4-3.
1969-70 Rushen won the Cowell Cup for the fourth year in a row. The first game ended 4-4 against Pulrose but Rushen won the replay 10-2 with goals from Chris Oates 3 Chris Taggart 3 John Guy 2 and Allan Kneale 2 1970-71 It was a mediocre season with Rushen going out of both the FA Cup and Hospital Cup to second division opposition.
1971-72 Rushen lost 1-0 to Peel in the Hospital Cup final .The Junior Cup team gained revenge with a 3-2 victory with N Shimmin scoring the winner. Rushen also won the Cowell Cup final 5-4 against the westerners with goals from Neil Shimmin 3 and Phil Curphey 2
1972-73 Rushen finished runners up in the league and lost a thrilling Railway Cup final 6-4 against Peel with Gareth Jones scoring all four goals. When the two teams met in the FA Cup final Peel had a comfortable 6-0 victory. Rushen also retained the Cowell Cup winning 7-2 against Onchan with goals from Neil Shimmin 5 David Richards and Chris Oates. Gareth Jones was selected Island Footballer of the Year for the second time.
1973-74 Once again it was runners up in the league and Rushen were beaten in the FA Cup final losing 3-2 to Peel with the goals from Denis Kneen and Eric Nelson. There was victory in the Junior Cup final against Castletown with Ian Lunn scoring the only goal of the game. The Cowell Cup was retained with a 3-1 victory over DHSOB.
1974-75 Peels six year reign as Railway Cup champions came to an end with a crushing 5-1 defeat against Rushen . The goal scorers were Neil Shimmin 2, Gareth Jones 2 and Mike Gellion.There was also victory in the Hospital Cup final with a 2-0 victory against Pulrose with goals from Neil Shimmin and Alan Harrison.Rushen finished runners up in the league once again.
1975-76 Rushen retained the Railway Cup but not without some drama .Rushen were leading 2-0 with goals from Stef Lowe when the game was abandoned due to the referee not being able to distinguish between the two teams because of the muddy conditions.In the replayed final Rushen won after extra time by 5 goals to 2 with Neil Shimmin scoring a hat trick Gareth Jones and an own goal. There was victory in the Hospital Cup with a 1-0 victory over Malew with Eric Nelson scoring the goal. There was victory in the Junior Cup with a 1-0 win against Malew with Paddy Breslin scoring the goal.
1976-77 Rushen lost in the Railway Cup final 2-1 against Castletown with Mike Gellion scoring the only goal.Rushen finished runners up in the league for the third year in a row
1977-78 Rushen finally won the league title after a 40 year wait. Three teams ended the season on 30 points but Rushen had the better goal average. The winning goal in the final game of the season came with just 6 minutes to go. There was victory in the Railway Cup with a 1-0 win against Peel with Gareth Jones scoring the goal. The FA Cup was won with a record breaking 7-1 win against Pulrose with goals from Neil Shimmin3 ,Eric Nelson Alan Harrison Gareth Jones and Stef Lowe.
1978-79 Rushen retained the league title losing just one game all season. There was also victory in the Railway Cup final beating Ramsey 3-2 with goals from Neil Shimmin Ken Terry and Denis Kneen. In the Hospital Cup final against Castletown it ended up 2-2 with goals from Neil Shimmin and Gareth Jones.In the replay Town won 4-2 with Chris Oates scoring twice. Neil Shimmin scored 52 goals in all competitions. The combination team scored 22 goals in each game against St Marys. Gareth Jones was Island footballer of the year for the third time
1979-80 Rushen won the league title for the third year in a row. In the Railway Cup final against Castletown the first game ended 2-2 with goals from Neil Shimmin and Chris Oates. In the replay Rushen won 3-0 with goals from J Barry 2 and Neil Shimmin. In the FA Cup final Rushen threw away a 2-0 lead and ended up losing 4-2 against Ramsey with Neil Shimmin scoring both goals. It was defeat in the Hospital Cup final losing 5-1 against Peel with Neil Shimmin on the score sheet. Neil Shimmin was Island footballer of the Year while he and Jimmy B 1980-81 Rushen won the league for the fourth year in a row. They dropped 6 points in the first 7 games but then dropped only 1 point in the remaining 14 games. There was defeat in the Railway Cup final losing 4-1 against Peel with Neil Shimmin scoring the goal. Rushen won the Hospital Cup after a replay against Corinthians. The first game ended 0-0 but Rushen ran out comfortable 4-2 winners in the replay with goals from Eric Nelson 2 Neil Shimmin and Denis Kneen. Rushen also won the combination one title.
1981-82 Rushen lost their title when they finished runners up. There was also defeat in the FA Cup final losing 4-1 to Peel with Neil Shimmin scoring the goal. For the first time in 8 seasons Rushen failed to qualify for the Railway Cup final. It was defeat in the Junior Cup final losing 5-2 against St Georges with Denis Kneen scoring both goals.
1982-83 Rushen were runners up in the league again. They won the Railway Cup against Ramsey. They drew the first game 2-2 with Neil Shimmin scoring both goals but won the replay 3-0 with the goals coming from Neil Shimmin Karl Clare and John Preston. There was a 2-1 defeat in the FA Cup final against DHSOB with Karl Clare scoring the goal. The Hospital Cup proved an epic against Castletown.The first game ended 1-1 with Neil Shimmin scoring .The first replay ended 0-0 but in the second replay Rushen won 4-2 with goals from Karl Clare Neil Shimmin Gareth Jones and Stef Lowe. Rushen won the Cowell Cup 3-1 with goals from Bryan LeGear 2 and Anthony Crawley. Neil Shimmin scored 49 goals during the season and John Horbury was selected as Island footballer of the Year.
1983-84 Rushen were runners up in the league but won the Railway Cup final defeating DHSOB 1-0 with Chris Oates scoring the goal. There was a shock defeat in the preliminary round of the FA Cup to second division Ronaldsway 1-0.DHSOB gained revenge in the Hospital Cup final winning 3-2 with Eric Nelson and Neil Shimmin scoring. There was a comfortable 5-0 victory in the Junior Cup final against Castletown with goals from Mark Preston 2 Ian Quayle 2 and John Curphey.
1984-85 Rushen regained the league title with the lowest points total since the war of 29 points. Rushen only won 2 of their first 5 games but were unbeaten over the last 15 games. There was a 5-2 defeat against Castletown in the Railway Cup final with the goals coming from John Preston and Gary Sansbury.The combination team won the league title and the Junior Cup with a 1-0 victory against Peel with Ian Quayle scoring the goal .Neil Shimmin scored over 40 goals during the season and was selected as Island footballer of the Year.
1985-86 Rushen retained the league title after losing 2 of their first 5 games but they won the last 15. They lost in the Railway Cup final against Gymns.The first game ended 2-2 with Neil shimmin scoring both goals but lost 2-1 in the replay with Chris Oates scoring. Revenge was gained in the Hospital Cup final with a 3-1 victory. Goalscorers were Neil Shimmin 2 and Mick Hannay. In the Junior Cup final Rushen were defeated by RYCOB after a replay . The first game ended 1-1 with Ian Quayle scoring the goal but lost 3-0 in the replay. There was defeat in the Cowell Cup final losing 2-0 against Onchan.
1986-87 Rushen finished runners up to Gymns in both the Railway Cup final and the Hospital Cup final. The score in the Railway Cup was 4-1 and in the Hospital Cup 3-1 with Neil Shimmin scoring the goals in both finals as he scored 40 goals for the season. Rushen lost in the Junior Cup final 3-1 against St Marys with Anthony Crawley scoring the goal.
1987-88 Rushen regained the league title and also won the Railway Cup final 4-2 against DHSOB with goals from Neil Shimmin Martin Kennaugh Stef Lowe and Gareth Jones. Eric Nelson was selected as Island footballer of the Year.
1988-89 Rushen played DHSOB in the Railway Cup final and drew 1-1 with mark Peyton scoring the goal. In the replay DHSOB won convincingly 5-0. In the Hospital Cup final against Peel the first game ended 1-1 with Neil Shimmin scoring the goal but Rushen won the replay 3-0 with goals from Neil Shimmin 2 and Gareth Jones. The Junior Cup final went to a replay against Castletown. Anthony Crawley scored Rushens only goal in the first game and in the replay which Rushen won 2-1 William Ward and Anthony Crawley scored the goals.
1989-90 There was defeat in the Railway Cup final 2-1 against St Georges with Juan Kinley scoring the goal. There was victory in the FA Cup final against St Georges after a replay.The first game ended 2-2 with goals from Bryan Legear and Mark Peyton. In the replay Rushen won 3-2 with goals from Neil Shimmin Bryan LeGear and an own goal.
Jimmy Barry both scored over 40 goals during the season.

1991-92 For the first time since 1972 Rushen failed to qualify for the Railway Cup.Rushen won the combination one title. Rushen also won the Cowell Cup final after a replay against Douglas Royal. The first game ended 1-1 with an own goal but Rushen won the replay 3-2 thanks to goals from Colin Coole 2 and Andrew Hughes.
1992-93 Rushen won the Hospital Cup final 3-2 with goals from Neil Shimmin mark Peyton and Anthony Crawley. On route to the final Rushen had a walkover against Castletown who refused to turn up.
1993-94 There were defeats in the semi finals of both the Hospital Cup and the FA Cup.There was victory for the combination team winning the league title and the Junior Cup final after a replay against Peel. The first game ended 1-1 with a goal from Campbell Guy but in the replay Rushen ended up 3-2 winners thanks to goals from Campbell Guy 2 and Neil Curphey. 1994-95 Rushen reached the Hospital Cup final but lost 4-0 against DHSOB.
1995-96 Rushen reached the Railway Cup final but lost 1-0 against DHSOB. There was revenge in the Junior Cup final when Rushen won 2-0 with Chris Oates scoring both goals. There was defeat in the Cowell Cup final losing 3-0 to Corinthians.
1996-97 Rushen reached the Railway Cup final but lost 2-0 to St Marys. The combination team completed the double again winning the league title and the Junior Cup final 5-2 against DHSOB with goals from Joel Henke 2 Steve Watterson 2 and Billy Newton
1997-98 This was a mediocre year in Rushens history although the combination team did retain the league title.
1998-99 Rushen lost to Peel in both the FA Cup final and the Hospital Cup final by 3-0.
1999-00 The end of the nineties saw a season with nothing to show .A ladies team was formed at Rushen
2000-01 The start of the new century saw Rushen pick up the Hospital Cup against Laxey with a narrow 4-3 victory after extra time. The goalscorers were Mark Haywood 2 Neil Curphey and Nicky Glover. Eleanor Gawne was selected as ladies Island Footballer of the Year.
2001-02 Rushen won the Railway cup final against Marown 3-1 with goals from Chris Kneen Nei l Curphey and Alex Messenger.The combination team completed the league and cup double. In the Junior Cup final against Corinthians the game ended 2-2 with a goal from Andrew Oates and an own goal but Rushen came out on top on penalties. Eric Nelson also achieved a magnificent milestone when he completed 1000 games for the club. The ladies team won the league title and the HSBC Cup. Eleanor Gawne was selected as ladies Island Footballer of the Year
2002-03 It was defeat in the Hospital Cup final against St Marys. The first game ended 1-1 with a goal from Richard Corrin but Rushen lost the replay 1-0. The ladies team won the FA Cup
2003-04 The only success was victory in the Cowell Cup final against Peel which Rushen won 3-2 with Andrew Moody scoring a hat trick. The ladies team won the league title.
2004-05 Another disappointing season for the mens teams.The ladies won the FA Cup.
2005-06 Rushen entrtained Bolton Wanderers on the 9th July 2005 and raised over £35,000
2006-07 Paul Jones was selected as Island Footballer of the Year.The ladies won the HSBC Cup
2007-08 Rushen reached the final of the Junior Cup but lost to Peel 2-0
2008-09 Rushen won the Railway cup beating Peel 1-0 thanks to a Steve Riding goal. The combination team won the league title.
2009-10 Rushen won the league division title after a 22 year gap. There was a defeat in the Railway Cup final 2-0 against Peel and a 3-2 defeat against St Georges after extra time with goals from Tom Craine and Adam Cregeen
